Spherical Alumina

Boratherm™ SA

Spherical Alumina powders are used in the manufacturing process of thermal management products, which are relied on to regulate the temperature of electronic systems and devices.
These include:

  • Thermally Conductive Plastics used in hardware and made by adding conductive fillers to polymers through a compounding process. Applications: automotive and aerospace parts, healthcare equipment, and electrical and electronic parts such as mounting devices, heat sinks, and cooling systems.
  • Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) inserted between components to support thermal conduction in pads, tapes, and epoxies.
  • Base materials for hardware, software, and printed circuit boards to support thermal dissipation and control.
